I've used this humidifier in my daugther's room about 15 times and it has suddenly stopped working. It is extremely hard to clean. There's only a 2 inch diameter hole for the water container- so you'd have to use a bottle brush to get in there. The heating coil is hard to clean as well. I tried soaking in vinegar and using a toothbrush and it was impossible to reach the top part of the coil to clean. Then there are 2 dishes "water resevoirs" at the bottom that have to be clean out too.
