very distracting, but there has to be a way to turn it off, i just haven't figured it out.i ran all my video components to the hd tv, and then ran the optical sound line to this sound system, works

- i found that the yellow-white-red component wires do not work on this system with my tv for connecting it to the tv's sound.

the picture is great with the component video hook-up, but the unit could definately use more outputs.

i have a 720p hdtv with both component and hdmi cables - pretty much the same res with either cable and you could not change settings (ie, to 480p, 720p or 1080p).wow.
