To be certain, there are no wires from the main unit to the back speakers, but there are wires that run from the rear speaker amp to each rear speaker.

prossound quality is excellent, have not had a chance to use all of the features yet but so far it is great consnot truely 'wireless' as i expected, no wires from rear speakers to system but they have wires to a remote box.
