1) sound quality is really very good, while it does not beat a decent 5.1 system but for two speakers (and compared to other pricey 2.1 units) sound quality is commendable.
it looks better than anything in the movie theater.
did not give it 5 stars because it does not quite recreate the sourround sound that 5 speakers would but it certainly serves my purpose for good sound on videos and hi-def tv.
i have it hooked up to a large screen lcd tv in my living room which has very high ceilings and it rocks the house!
i know the subwoofer can handle more because in movies, the sound is awesome (for the pricepoint, again.) i have had experience with bose home theatre and the sound quality is better there but only
pros: sound quality, picture quality, ease of use, and price.

Pros: Great looking, HDMI output, sound and picture are pure.
Pros: 5 disc changer, universal remote, looks good, good picture

Pros: Features, Movie quality (both a & v ) , remote - adaptability etc .......
Pros: Good picture
The Denon sound quality and features are tops in the 2.1 channel HTIB category.
Sounds great on CD's, DVD's and everyday HD broadcast.
I just ordered the HDMI cable.
This is a bit disconcerting, considering that some movies on dvd will not have the same volume as others, etc.
At least not as much as I thought, but I do like the look and the point that it is HD and the DVD movies look GREAT.
If you demand HDMI, then just upgrade to the HTR5990 a/v receiver.
The compact speakers of Yamaha's YHT-670 home-theater-in-a-box not only mimic the sound of HTIBs with tower speakers, the sound can be upgraded down the road with better speakers.
I've owner Carver, JVC, and Panasonic; this Yamaha receiver beats them all in quality and ease of use.
Pros: Broad range of surround sound options, sound, price.
Pros: Great sound and price, 5 channel stereo sound
Pros: Sound reproduction, Selections of DSP, clear instruction on set up
Pros: Super Great surround sound!
Pros: Great Sound
Pros: Cheap, versatile, home theater in a box
Pros: 6-DVD carousel, good, yet compact speakers, plenty of volume, and good sound at all volumes.
Pros: Sweet clear sound
Pros: Affordable home theater system with flawed DVD player.
Pros: Sound over all is really good
Amazing sound quality for the price!
I bought it for my son's room since he already has a Samsung 32" LCD.
If you already own a Samsung HDTV, this will nicely integrate and complement your digital surround options.
Pros: Bose Uses Another Name For Dolby Pro Logic???!!!
Review: Being a Sears Electronics Associate for sometime I would give my recommendation to anyone in the market for BOSE.
Review: As the title implies, we'd gotten tired of looking a decent-sounding - but very visible (= ugly!) - mini stereo systems and decided to acquire a good quality, non-intrusive system.
The Bottom Line: Even though it comes with a heavy price, the system is durable, easy to use (remote works from any room), and has excellent sound quality.
When we listened to this system in the store and compared it to all the others, we knew this was it.
Pros: loud, shiny, reads nearly any format, CD/DVD/Tuner all-in-one, many inputs
Pros: Excellent sound quality
