Affordable Home Theater RECEIVER 7.1, excellent product fom ONKYO for this money a 7.1 receiver it has: awsome price, nice finish (silver), I have connected my pc media center to this receiver and works excellent, I can watch live stream, movies, read, email or write e-mail straight from my computer if use it with a wireless mouse and keyboard. No problems whatsoever, yet. from Amazon.com I recently purchased the Onkyo TX SR505 and am very pleased with it. The surround sound was great even though I am using only 5 speakers and set the receiver to 5.1 (a great option). from Amazon.com I bought this receiver thinking it would do as a nice home theater unit and it failed within 2 weeks of hooking it up. I took it to the local warranty service place for it, and after 3 trips, and 2 MONTHS getting parts, it worked for about a week before it blew up again. It shuts off and turns itself on randomly as if overloading, but does it even when the unit is turned off! from Amazon.com This is a nice receiver with good sound quality and some neat features.
