I PURCHASED THIS UNIT APRROX 2 MONTHS AGO AND HAVE IT CONNECTED TO A SAMSUNG LCD 52' 6 SERIES HD TELEVISION. BOTH OF THE UNITS ARE INCREDIABLE! from Circuitcity.com I was afraid this system wouldn't be worth it since most movies are still in 5.1 however, the true HD audio does use all 8 channels. Sometimes it is rather chilling on a scary movie when the extra two channels in the rear pick up an unexpected sound. from Amazon.com I really can't review this product in terms of its picture quality or 7.1 sound.
