we bought this 2months ago and are very disappointed. obviously since it is refurbished the issue has not been fixed. it is our problem as this is a final sale, and it is too costly to send it back to RCA. the amp is having problems, the digital display starts flashing on and off, and it also looks like it is scrolling through settings for no reason. from Buy.com I thought since my 30 year old RCA TV was still working that a RCA sound system would be a good deal. WRONG! from Beachaudio.com I just bought the RT2870 from Wal-Mart which for all intensive purposes looks just like the RT2770. I hooked it up last night and have since used it to play movies and CD's. from Amazon.com Not very loud, had to turn up to 45/50 to get decent volume. Other Comments: This was my first Surround Sound System with a Receiver. I have upgraded to a Pioneer VSX-D812 which blows the RCA way out of the water.
