Granted that the price is low, but Coby ought to have made some attempt to deliver a product that functions at all. System produces extremely loud rushing noise, is complicated to set up and adjust and has documentation that confuses rather than informs. from Amazon.com The only word I have to describe this system is garbage. The speaker wires are short and ridiculously skinny, it takes forever to load up, and it has a constant whistle that unless you are blasting the volume you can always hear. I called Coby Customer Support and they told me it was my T. V.s fault, I have a 42in LCD, that didn't mess with my Philips I had before. from Amazon.com We run a small business and we bought 6 of these small DVD home theatre systems as gifts for employees and customers. They are nice, compact, cheap and perfect for a bedroom unit. from Amazon.com I hooked it up to an inexpensive, no-name 32" LCD flat-screen HDTV and the system isn't bad and takes up very little space. It only has 100 watt outage power, but the sound is pretty good. It is basically a progressive scan DVD/CD player with a speaker system. I received this item for Christmas and also experienced the "humming" or white noise that unless you blared the volume, was always there. from Amazon.com I bought this a few days ago and it is already on its way back.
