I've had the Onkyo S7100 for quite some time maybe for 9 months now and really enjoying it. To me this is the perfect HTIB (home theater in a box) that comes with a 'real' receiver, the SR606. from Amazon.com Got this package (from Vanns) about two months ago and it was a breeze to set up. Everything is labeled or color-schemed to make the installation easy. from Amazon.com I did a lot of research when trying to decide which receiver and speaker set up I wanted to purchase for my new home theater. I did not want to break the bank so the price needed to be less than $1,000. from Amazon.com I shopped around for 3 - 4 months online and in the store. I wanted to link my Sony XBR52 with a good Home Theatre system. from Amazon.com I'll keep it short. My wife and I love the sound of this system. from Amazon.com After searching extensively for a home theather system that would have the best bang for the buck, I decided on the Onkyo S7000 7.1 system. I have had this now for a couple of months, and the I couldn't be more pleased with the system. from Amazon.com I bought this particular model because it was supposed to have 1.3 HDMI with audio and video pass-through. This model does that very nicely with no signal artifact or interference. from Amazon.com So I bought this when it was less than $699 last week.
