we located this sony component system in various retail and 'big-box' stores, and listened to it under various conditions.
i purchase the sony ht- ss2300 blu-ray disc matching compomet home theather system and hook it up to m sony xblr4 46".
first it is made by sony which is a top rate company.
it is small and sleed and goes great with the sony blu-ray players.
my only recommendation is to buy the warranty directly from sony.com as it is cheaper and they have longer warrantly periods!

it just doesn't get much better or easier to setup than the sony ht-ct100.
