if you want a receiver with lots of audio hookups(i don't use video inputs on a/v receivers) and don't want to spend much, then this rca rt2580 should hold you over til you spend more...
i should have known better than to buy a rca product.
i don't think that is rca's fault though.
I thought since my 30 year old RCA TV was still working that a RCA sound system would be a good deal.
it is our problem as this is a final sale, and it is too costly to send it back to RCA.
I thought that being made by RCA it would last.
Get the firmware fixed RCA.#$(*@#)(*%)@(*%^
My previous DVD/VCR home theater was an RCA, and I didn't have many problems with it, other than it would not play some DVD's properly (Back to the future trilogy, would not play the pop-up special
I'll never buy a RCA system again.
EVER buy an RCA brand product.
[...] Needless to say the RCA product was returned.
RCA puts out a great product for the price and has been around for a long time.
I LOVE my new RCA Home Theater System and it took less than an hour to setup.
the video quality on rca video is pretty good, although i do plan to expand the system further by utilizing the component video within an a/v splitter so i can use my ipod and ps2 with the system
also, the main reason i bought this rca was because the price seemed too good to be true (i paid $89 bucks with no rebate hassles!).
the bottom line: the rca rtd207 is great for first time home theater buyers, so long as they are only using it for a small room - or aren't into blasting loud music.
