great sound while watching tv because the hk avr 225 doesn't have a cable input so we watched blu-ray with great theater-like sound, but had to switch over to the tv speakers for regular tv watching.

your mp3/ipod ( hint, hint, bose you need to create an ipod dock like sony did), and you can use the tv input to listento movies played on your blu-ray or hd/dvd and they will still sound good.
