i've owned pioneer, kenwood and yamaha component home theater systems in 5.1 and 7.1 configurations, but this little bose with it's 2.1 set up really holds it's own (and then some).

this system was very easy to setup and has a great sound for a smaller room....if you have a large room i would recommend a bose 'lifestyle' stereo system as it has 6 separate speakers.

this system can expand no matter what they say ,it can link to other bose surround soud systems and be used as a second zone!
