I have two pair of theses speakers installed in rear walls and side walls for 7.1 system and they work fine. I had someone over last weekend and I had to point the speakers out for him, he had never noticed them before [he had been in the house 6 to 8 times before]. I turned the speakers off and went to stereo and then he noticed them right away! I am very happy with them and and the "disappear" when the speaker grilles are painted wall color. from Amazon.com These speakers sound great.
