I was pleasantly surprised by the audio quality of these small inexpensive speakers. I use them indoors rather than outdors so I can't comment of their durability in an external environment. The white cabinet blends in well with the interior walls and that's mainly why I got them. Bass response is more than adequate especially considering the small cabinet size. from Amazon.com Considering the price, these are great speakers.
