I was actually surprised how "big" these speakers sound when installed in housing. I am using in ceiling with bat insulation surrounding which is supposed to improve sound quality. They sound amazing as main speakers however I am using 4 as rear speakers in my 7.1 surround system. I have Paradigms in ceiling speakers in our kitchen and they cost two times what these did and I can not tell a difference. from Amazon.com You know what I mean? great speakers should kinda be invisible and all you should hear is the music.
