I just took back a Sony 2500 after 2 hours of use as it just didn't have the power for my 18X30 townhouse living area. The BA XB2 was $60 more and well worth the upgrade. Though the Sony was rated to get down to 28hz and the BA rates at 45hz, I can feeland here the bass in the XB2 well over the Sony. from Circuitcity.com This is a perfect sub for any location. I currently have it in my bedroom, but soon I will move it to my entertainment center. I used to have an RCA home theater in a box, and the RCA sub comes nowhere near the quality of this boston sub.
