i bought this subwoofer to add to the other infinity speakers that i also bought from crutchfield.
i haven't noticed this with other infinity subs.
using tx-805 onkyo with infinity 360's in the front, c350 center, and four 162's for surr-rears.
i bought this sub to add some bass to my existing infinity 2 way p252 tower speakers with my yamaha receiver, i previously reviewed those speakers as having weakish bass and needed a sub to fill in
i added the infinity series p152 to my home office stereo system (run itunes from my pc thru my stereo)...wow what a difference this has made.
the infinity primus p152 sounds great and is a great component in my home theater speaker system balanced with a infinity primus center channel speaker.
bought a new (under $50*) & used (under $30* - like new) infinity primus 152 bookshelf speaker for 13'x12' basement room w/ harman-kardon 3490 2-channel stereo receiver.
i had a pair of infinity bookshelf speakers for 16 years, and they worked and sounded great.
i wouldn't buy anything else than infinity unless you want to spend a lot more money.
just installed this purchase, rounding out an infinity 5.1 speaker set up and it sounds terrific.
i've had better but paid much more for sub.at price this is a steal based on quality and price.lets not for get who made this product.infinity will always give you what you paid for.
for the money this sub pounds low you can always count on infinity to deliver top notch sound i got this sub hooked up to a onkyo receiver with jbl northridge series speakers and the sound is just
this subwoofer was purchased to replace an earlier infinity model which had failed after a number of years good performancem in my home cinema setup.
i replaced an old 8" no-name subwoofer and initially was worried that the infinity would either not make much of a difference, or be way too powerful.
