unlike many high chairs on the market today, it's perfectly proportioned to a baby's body and allows them reach anything on the tray while sitting with good posture.
we first got it when he was 8 months old, and we liked how he was forced to sit up in it (and not slouch or have more room to avoid food like he did in the full sized chair.)
it's like a mini regular chair, so she feels like she's sitting at the table with us.
he couldn't sit up very well when we first got it, so using a high chair at a restaurant was out of the question (i still don't like the idea of him leaning forward and chewing on the wood of most
she loves sitting in her "chair" and has used it since she was able to sit up straight.
i'm giving it 4 stars because i think it's a good product, it does provides excellent support to young babies and helps them to sit up, it's also durable and cleans up easily.
once they start sitting up on their own (often around 6 months old) they won't have much use for this product.
she can sit up very well in it.
it works best b/w the time they outgrow the bouncy seat or swing, and can start sitting up on their own.
just got it recently, but it's nice to have my lil one sitting up without having to hold her up.
our daughter would have red marks on her legs from sitting in it, this chair is not like that at all, in fact she loves the chair, she asks to get in it as soon as we get home.
my son has been sitting in it since two months old and he loves it!!
my son loves it and since he is only 4 months the reclining feature helps him sit up like a big boy.
it was great when she was small and just starting cereal and would flop around a bit, it really helped her sit up straight.
i just got it and he enjoys sitting in it when we are eating.
(you may find the pillow more useful with a younger baby that isn't sitting up steadily yet.) i've also used it to cover a restaurant high chair - the fit is very tight and a bit lopsided, but if
i've been using the buggybag for about 8 months and my daughter is comfortable and content while sitting in it.
also used it to prop her up when she was first learning to sit up.
they pillow is a wonderful feature for us as my son can't quite sit up on his own just yet, and it is the full length of the buggybagg.
then when bryson was getting big enough to sit up in a cart...
my son is comfortable sitting in it, and the tray is neither too high or low for him (it wasn't too high even when he was 4 months old).
i like the fact that it has different levels; sometimes we eat breakfast at the bar and our daughter is sitting at the highest position; in the evening; when we watch tv or sit on the sofa; i set the
the only thing is i wish it you could raise and lower just the seat not the whole thing so when sitting in it she could reach the top of the toy because she still a little small for it being only 4
it's wonderful, he loves sitting in it to eat or to play.
additionally, mom likes the fact that the chair reclines and the height is adjustable for feeding the baby while the parent is sitting or stannding.
although it is a bit more expensive than other swings, the ability to change the infant's sitting direction and the moving insects and bird make this product well worth its price.
the chair only reclines in two positions, it should've reclined at least 3 positions, that way it can sit up more.
the chair adjusts to different heights so that the baby can sit up more or less depending though my son didn't stay in it long enough to worry about adjusting the height.
we both also like the way it is set up- the seat is deep enough for her to cat nap if she likes and it will sit up just enough for her to play with the activity bar.
(hence the name cradle swing i guess) i wish i had known that when they were first born and couldn't sit up, it would have been so much easier if i had know it reclined.
we did not have a problem putting on the chair, and he loves sitting in his big boy chair like the rest of the family.
if your little one can't, or doesn't sit up sturdily, they're probably not ready for this but, otherwise, i highly recommend it.
my four year old daughter was tired of sitting in her hard, uncomfortable booster chair.
as i type this review, he's coloring and sitting comfortably in his chair.
it boosted him up to the table in a way that made him feel he was sitting in a seat just like ours.
it is a perfect post-highchair chair, and i know that she will be using it for many years to come, as i (her mom) even like sitting in it!
it isn't for babies who can't sit up on their own yet.
she tired more quickly initially (be sure to watch a very young child carefully as he/she becomes used to the chair), but she is now almost 7 months old, can push herself up to sitting when on the
it is so lovely having him sitting with us for dinnner like a big boy and joining in.
it is the perfect height and slides easily right up to the table (even with an almost 30lb toddler sitting on it).
restaurants that may not have high chairs (or may have high chairs that you don't want your child in.) my little girl is almost 5 months, and she really likes sitting at the table with us at meals.
it is a very light and compact chair and the baby enjoys sitting up to the counter in it.
it's much more compact than the highchair, and my son loves sitting up at the kitchen counter and watching the action.
i use it even when not traveling b/c it makes baby feel like she's sitting at the table with everybody else.
she does not like sitting straight in it though, so we stuff the back with towels to make it more comfortable for everyone.
my two girls seem to enjoy the chairs--i like that they are sitting upright(our last chairs reclined slightly in the highest position.) the fact that it converts to a toddler chair was also a big
i like the way it supports my 7 month old and teaches her to sit up straight!
it also is just a great fit....it helps your child sit up nice and straight and the tray is just the right height.
not adjustable, just make it a little more relaxed instead of a rigid 90 degree sitting postion.
we just loved this chair my baby just enjoy sitting and playing in her chair
this high chair is very wonderful, our daughter just turned 3 1/2 months and just started cereal and this high chair works great she can sit up in it and not fall over and she loves to be in it.
the adjustable height feature is great; we can raise him up for sitting at the table or lower it if we feed him elsewhere.
she liked sitting in it to play even when she wasn't eating.
our baby is 5.5 months old and i wish that i would have bought it earlier because she really likes sitting in it at dinner time with us even if she isn't eating.
she enjoys sitting in highchair when she eats cereal and plays with toys while mom does housework.
my 10 month old daughter loves sitting in it because she can swing her legs and it's very sturdy so i have no worries about her falling.
the fact that there is no tray is wonderful, less to clean and my toddler loves sitting at the table with the rest of the family.
this is so perfect because she feels like a big girl sitting at the table.
this is simple, and my daughter loves it because she can sit up with the family instead of detached from us.
my son enjoys sitting at the dinner table with the rest of the family now.
we found with all other chairs we have used that the tray gets in the way and is a frustration to the child becasue they want to be sitting with us.
in fact, we've offered to take it to a wedding later this year for some friends who will probably have their newborn along (since our girl is big enough to sit up in a regular restaurant-style high
he recently turned four, and has long since graduated to sitting at the table in a "real" chair, and his little brother, who just turned two, is now using it.
it can be used at restrants at home anywhere sure makes it easy to feed the little ones that just can't sit up yet
i have to use my knee to push down on the front to get it to sit up straight.
she is only 3 1/2 months old but she likes to sit up so we put her in the chair so she can watch the other kids play and for her to play with her toys on the tray.
it's easy to assemble, requiring only one tool, and my 10 month old loves sitting in it.
she was already sitting up supported so she was able to start using the chair right away.
my first born is now almost four months old and we both enjoy "the chair" he still is a little wiggely with his head but we have chair training every day and soon he will be sitting like a king.
no more knealing or sitting too low.
our daughter did not like traditional chairs with a high back (she seemed imprisoned sitting there, rather than comfy), and i was driven to despair cleaning them up after each meal.
for the most part this is a really well made high chair.my daughter loves sitting up a bit high with the rest of us and the big tray allows her to feed herself with out much problem, she is 9
my seven year old put it together in a few minutes and my almost 6 month old really enjoys sitting in it.
our daughter looks so cute sitting in it and it seems to be comfortable for her.
tells me the baby does too.now she is just 3 1/2 mos old and because it goes back they have already had her sitting in it with them.
the pink is so girlie and she just loves sitting in it.
the height options are great so you can adjust it to where ever you are sitting to make it easier.
i also love the multi-levels for lowering her to interact with her brothers, or sitting at the dinner table.
in her svan chair, olivia sits up straight, her hands/arms on the tray (which sits at the perfect level)...it's the perfect size for any child.
love that it isn't a huge plastic thing sitting in my kitchen!
he loves sitting there and surveying the room.
i don't even bother with arranging the straps until she's actually sitting down and then i reach under for them and clip them together.
