the slowest speed was a little too fast for the first couple of weeks, but it is easily remedied by draping a receiving blanket across the baby's lap so it hangs over the sides a little...it provides
it seems really comfortable and my baby was completely fine and comfy in it from a couple of days old until present (almost 5 months).
he just turned one a couple weeks ago and i just put it away last week.
we haven't been able to use it for the past couple of days because the squeaking is so loud that is wakes her up.
baby would not nap without it for the first couple months.
my one year old little boy has done it a couple times, but only after pulling with all his might for a prolonged period of time.
i bought one of these bibs and loved it so much that i got a couple more so that i would always have one for my son's diaper bag and an extra one if other kids were over.
best of all when my son threw up a couple of times the bib contained all the mess beautifully, no mess even on his clothes.
