i originally purchased this chair to bring along to restaurants or vacations but it was so sturdy, so small, and so convenient, i ended up ditching our high chair and using it every day at home.

the only little flaw with this chair is that if you go to a restaurant with thicker tables, you can not attach the seat (but this is a minor flaw, since it has only happened to us once).
