it folds easily, although it would be nice if it could be a bit more compact.
you would need about a foot of space to be able to put it away.
my grandson put the chair together and it's waiting for my great grandson to use it -- he was born on 8/15/07 so he's a little small for it yet...
it may be little inconvenience for smaller babies under 9 months old.
this chair comes with a cushion for smaller children which really helped with her positioning during early feedings.
it is big to fit any size of carts and has toys to keep the baby busy.
fits the standard and bigger shopping baskets (buggies), but not so great for the standard wooden high chairs at the restaurants.
it fits with any shopping cart even at costco/samsclub and they have bigger cart.
i do like that this fits well in super size carts and in those wooden high chairs in restaurants.
the loops are none too big for the belt and i'm scared that one of these days it's going to tear, but other than that i have no complaints!
i really enjoy how it gives the smaller children a place at the table, without needing to find space for a separate, clunky "high chair" in the room.
i am big into baby stuff that can be used into adulthood so i was thrilled by the idea of a high chair that grew with the child and took a ton of space.
i like that its easy to clean and a space saver and i love that my son will sit with us at the table and learn how to eat in a social setting and not sat aside away from the rest of us.i do really
it is very user friendly for any size child.
baby set & cushion) for something so small.
the highchair is light and easy to put together.the only gripe i have with this chair is that is does not fold up, so be sure to have adequate space for it.i would recommend this over other chairs
i can easily set my daughter down into the chair while the tray is on (and she is a big baby).
i didn't want a highchair that adjusts as the child gets bigger (this doesn't do that).
we love this chair because it is relatively small, light, comfortable, easy to clean, easy to move around, and good looking.
i bought this product due to the fact that there were times that we would go out to eat and there would be no high chair left and also for the fact that it was a lot smaller of a base where the child
we use this as an alternative to a full size high chair and it works well.
we have a tiny house and 3 other kiddos, so when our daughter needed a high chair...we chose to buy the chicco travel seat to save space...it doesn't have to be out all the time - and that's helpful.
we bought this for our first son when we found the high chair too bulky in our kitchen and he refused to sit in it.
our dining room is a high traffic, low space room so we chose a table mounted seat for our second child instead of a full sized high chair.
before i discovered tripp trapp, i could not find another high chair that could accommodate his size and the booster seats i have seen didn't seem comfortable enough to be a long-term solution for
by then he had outgrown his highchair and was jumping between laps and a too big chair during dinner.
the small problem is that it is not leveled.
when you are four - you want to be a "big kid" and no longer want to sit in a booster seat but still too small to sit in an adult chair without having table being too high.
i found some non-slip placemats for her space at the table in the event that fingers become sticky and make their way to the "adult" table -- this has been a very good solution.
be washing it all the time.the seat cleans up nicely with just a damp paper towel.i'm so glad i got these instead of the traditional high chairs because they don't take up any additional floor space.
they are much nicer than having large high chairs taking up space.
the chairs are not bulky- it feels like the girls are sitting at the table with us.
it works perfectly for a family who doesn't have a lot of extra space.
bought it for his parent because of space restraints.....they love it...thinking of getting one for my home.
my daughter can climb into the chair on her own using the footrest, it is just her size and she has the proper posture as she eats dinner with us.
first of all, the svan chair is very small.
we used to have a molded plastic chair with tray but it was bulky and could not be used when our first baby got too big, and it could not fit at the table, and it was hard to clean all the cracks.
it is elegant and sleek and much more appealing than those bulky, plastic high chairs.
when we first put the chair together, we were surprised by how compact and short it was (short compared to all other high chairs we've seen).
it's very easy to fold/unfold and it's true to its word about being the slimmest folding highchair around!!
it's so compact to fold and very easy to set up and fold too.
i highly reccomend this chair especially if you are looking at a space saver.
this highchair is awesome--it folds to save space, and has so many adjustments for height and positioning.
it folds up very easy and compact, which was really nice when we were in our small apartment, but not so necessary now that we have more room in our house.
the straps are alittle bulky.
there is plenty of room for big babies like mine, but not too much room he can move around.
(i prefer the first two options.) this insert, not only snaps on and off easily, but also has partitions in which you might put a sippy cup, some small finger foods like cheerios, etc.
pros: safe, sturdy, nice color, easy to clean tray, sleek and folds to save space.
my daughter was too big for a high chair, did not like the booster seat, and and frankly we didn't want to lose one of our dining chairs for her booster!
a regular high chair would have been just too big and a lot of the other chairs that hook to the table were somewhat heavier and bulky.
however a small cushion might be a nice touch.
the chairs also conveniently stack thereby using a small storage space.
it is so easy to clean, does not take up lots of space, and my daughter enjoys being at the table with us.
i used it for my child's pack and play plus small umbrella stroller.
it's just a little bulky however.
the size is great!
my 7 month old is still a little small for it so i can never leave him unattended unless i have the tray attached.
it may be dishwasher safe but it is too big to utilize the feature.
the colors are fun and it doesn't take up a lot of floor space.
she is on the small side and still fits well in the chair.
and the trays don't fit in our full size dishwasher.
this high chair is a little big for small babies just learning to sit but is perfect for bigger babies and toddlers.
the best feature i think is that it doesn't take up lots of space like most other chairs out there!
we don't like those bulky platic high chairs (they look cheap and take up too much room) and this couldn't be farther from that!
like a previous post said, we don't like the bulky plastic chairs.
i recently tried it again and think now that she is bigger she is not able to stand herself up if the tray is pushed all the way in.
so for anyone who complained that this highchair is not made for small babies, that's because they don't know how to adjust it.
we got it for two reasons: it was more stylish than other chairs in our price range, and two, it collapses down to fit in tight spaces.
it's a little hard for him to reach right now, but as he gets bigger i think he will reach just fine.
they don't get in the way and are the perfect size for any drink we have!
all size cups and soda bottles fit without any problems.
i love my cup holder...it fits my frog perfectly, matches beautifully, i can swing the holder inside the frame when i am walking in narrow spaces, i can drop it to my son's level when i push him
i like the fact that it can be fitted anywhere on the handle, and it's strong enough to hold a mid-sized water bottle/soda bottle or a venti-sized coffee cup.
i must admit i ordered the zen high chair for its looks - despite some reviews that it might be "too small" or the baby is able to remove the "top tray".
it's got style (for a high chair); it's easy to use; we bought this chair as we have a 'space saver high chair' fisher price which we have been very happy with, it's the kind you strap to the chair
i read some reviews about it being too small for children.
2) the locks on the wheels are too small so its hard to unlock them while holding a baby.
so many people i know rave about the fp spacesaver, but we have a large eat-in kitchen, and i would rather have one of our chairs free then try to save space.
our son is a rather large baby and it seems like there is still plenty of "growing space".
plus, it doesn't take up a lot of space.
it needs some assembly (not much - i even assembled it myself!) and does not fold, so it does take up space.
we would have kept it, but with our small dining area, it no longer would work with baby #2 and we needed something that folds up.
the belt has tons of room for bigger/older babies.
