i do not have problem with the tray being too far away and this chair looks great in the kitchen comparing to the plastic versions of high chair, material is super soft and it has lots of padding.

the tray has a hole in the moulded plastic, so water and stuff gets in there and can not be cleaned - i see ants marching in there - urg!
