i also like the fact the it is easily washable and has its own safety strap.
you can loop the seat belt through the back of the cart seat for safety.
i bought this thinking it would be a great way for me to keep my child safe from germs & comfortable while shopping.
we bought this for our first son when we found the high chair too bulky in our kitchen and he refused to sit in it.
and i feel like it's very stable and safe when attached.
(i do put a chair underneath him to be safer.) my 11 month old is 33" tall and 24 lbs and is very active.
so far, mine is safe and sound.
this was a very useful chair to use for my baby/toddler in a tight kitchen instead of a high chair, but it has always been very difficult to remove for cleaning.
in our opinion, peg perego infant carriers and bases had the best reputation for safety and quality among our friends and family.
it saves a lot of kitchen space.
it seems safe so far and secure.
the caddy itself is sturdy, easy to assemble, and safe for our grand daughter.
but once we tested our 6 month old daughter in it attached to our kitchen island at home we realized we don't want a regular high-chair and might get another one for eating out.
(it also comes with a carry bag if you want to take it to a restaurant or use it while traveling.) both models are extremely stable--and if you have any reservations about the safety of this style
