I love this seat! It is so handy to carry to restaurants, friends' houses, etc. from Amazon.com We have a tiny house and 3 other kiddos, so when our daughter needed a high chair...we chose to buy the Chicco Travel Seat to save space...it doesn't have to be out all the time - and that's helpful. We can also take it with us when we visit family or when we travel. from Amazon.com Our dining room is a high traffic, low space room so we chose a table mounted seat for our second child instead of a full sized high chair. He sat in it until he was almost 2 years old, and we had our second son. When my second son started solid foods I propped him up in the seat with some rolled up towels and it worked great. We bought them when they were about 6 months old and we use them whenever we go to a restaurant and even sometimes at granny's house. The chairs are very easy to put on the table and they are very secure. They wipe up easily (but I don't go to the trouble of cleaning under them every meal). We had an issue with the one of the handles getting stuck and so it was impossible to take the seat off the table without some brute force. But, Amazon happily replaced it with a new one. from Amazon.com I find it really annoying to assembly and attach and then detach and take apart before putting in the flimsy mesh bag. Sometimes the trigger won't release and I have to try and slid it off. I don't have another portable seat, so I don't know if others are this bad, but I am going to try them out. I will give this one to my in-laws to use at their house. from Amazon.com We were indeed looking for a seat for our son that would not take up too much space, but not become yet another baby stuff to be around the house and be easy to take to our parents house, when he stays with them. It is super easy to travel with, but takes a few minutes to set up because you have to take it completely apart to fit in the bag.
