second, it's rather tall and thin, which is great if you're wall mounting it, but makes it more of a tipping risk if you have kids or frisky dogs around.

the front of the unit heats up more than i expected, so make sure kids stay away from it.

puts out lots of heat and very safe around kids.

i am satisfied with my purchase and surely recommend anyone even if one has kids at home.

since this is going to be my first winter in an empty nest, i decided to see if i could reduce my heating bill by using this little heater and closing off part of the house the kids no longer use and

works well in our basement to give that extra heat for the kids to play.

my husband & i have a 4 bedroom house, no kids, so lots of un-used space to heat during the winter months...ha, no more.

i bought one for each of my kids bedrooms.

it does get a little hot to touch, so not for use around small kids, nor can you put it against draperies or furniture.
