Disconcerting. I looked around at other reviews online and found this problem is inherent; I didn't buy a lemon as I feared. As I said, otherwise seems fine: fairly quiet, compact, remote is a nice feature. from Target.com There does not seem to be any way to replace the fuse so they are pretty much door stops now. Any product can have the odd lemon, but two out of three for a single customer that use them for about an hour or two at a time is pretty awful. I would avoid these like the plague and I am not inclined to ever buy a Honeywell product in the future. Hope this helps. from Amazon.com I've set the product thermostat to 68 degrees by using the product instructions (very simple). I also have a separate thermometer across the room. The independent thermometer matches the Honeywell product display exactly. When the product reaches the programmed temperature it shuts off. from Amazon.com I spent almost $50 for this thing. The thermometer is probably in the wrong location.
