I am very happy I chose this one. Not only cheaper, but very effective. Between the thermostat heat control and the oscillation, this little guy heats up my den/office quite well. This little guy isn't meant to be a heat blaster, but a subtle little guy that doesn't draw a huge amount of power. from Amazon.com Pros: * Energy saver - which is a nice way to help the environment. * The temperature settings are nice, because it automatically turns off when it gets to the desired temp, instead of having to manualy turn it off! from Amazon.com Pros -Energy efficient. It really made the room warm and toasty, even to the point where I had to turn down the heat. But the smart energy control does help regulate the temps very well and it is also quiet enough that it doesnt bother my patients. It is also very lightweight so easy to transport back and forth from Amazon.com My thermostat is across the room and reads fairly close to what I have the heater set for!!! I also bought this for the safety features. The outside stays cool and if it tips over it shuts off.
