I exchanged it for another one, and that one worked for the few weeks we still needed a heater, but when we pulled it out of storage this year it no longer functioned. Both had a problem where one of the lights showed red all the time. The manual indicated that it was a problem only resolvable by sending it in for warranty covered repairs, but I just threw the second one out and resolved not to buy Bionaire in the future. from Amazon.com four years and I bought 2 more for friends with very positive remarks. The unit remote uses 3 AAA batteries not 2 as in the ad. The heater says bionaire but is made by Holmes. 5 stars easy. from Amazon.com Bionaire Ceramic Tower Fan Heater is the best heater that I've ever used. It is very safe for any unseen accident such as falling down the floor or perhaps unknowingly some material could accidentally drop on the heater and cover it while it's on, the system will automatically shot off. from Amazon.com the heater works well in small areas - i was trying to heat a large area and ended up having to supplement with one of those red-hot, coil heaters with a reflecting back (effectively a toaster oven without a door). the bionaire works well in a small area and does not get hot enough to concern you about a fire hazard. from Amazon.com Today I received thru Amazon the very similar BH3955 heater which arrived with the wrong wheels making it unusable because it cannot stand up. I called Bionaire and they told me that it and several other heaters like it had been discontinued and I would have to contact Amazon for the correct parts!!!!!!
