Last year, I ordered another Honeywell Oscillator Heater, but that was so noisy. This product is less noisy than old one and easy to handle. from Amazon.com First I had purchased a Honeywell digital heater (non ceramic) cause I dont care for the ceramic kind the airflow from the ceramic heaters is not very much from Home Depot. The model that comes with the little computer mouselike foot pedal only the model without the pedal. from Amazon.com well now i am in a basement and i needed something that was bigger, so i picked this thing up at walmart. from Amazon.com i had a little mini space heater that cost less then $20 but i had to get rid of it. from Amazon.com one that oscillated, was the color i liked, has great airflow, it has the fan only function, a childproof turning knob which must be pressed down and turned in order to be turned on, the temperature from Amazon.com an hour later the temperature in my bathroom had not gone up and the heater wasn't even hot in the front where the hot air comes out. from Amazon.com i bought this to raise the temperature in a fairly large room by 3 or so degrees when it's very cold outside. from Amazon.com it's quiet, too, even on the high setting. from Amazon.com last year, i ordered another honeywell oscillator heater, but that was so noisy. from Amazon.com it's relatively quiet. from Amazon.com
