this product is everything that it says it is..it heats the area designated, has two controls and the fire itself looks very real..it reminds me of my old wood stove..its a joy to watch and also to from Amazon.com everyone comments on how cute it is, and how the fire looks so real. from Amazon.com i was contacted by a manager from air & water (the company that sold the fireplace) and he was very nice and assured me that the problem would be handled promptly and accurately, and so it was. from Amazon.com we have no fireplace in our house, and this served as a great substitute. from Amazon.com I bought this heater during the worst blizzard in Colorado's history last year. I was living at 8500 feet elevation, in a wood frame house with inadequate insulation and inadequate central heat. from Amazon.com I ordered this product a few months ago and had some problems with it.
