i also noticed that while wearing it, the monitor transmits to gym equipment (bikes, ellipticals, etc) so you don't have to check the watch all the time, neat.

it gives you exactly what you need: your heart rate, stop watch and time.

i love this heart rate monitor- it is a bit confusing at times but most digital "watches" are to me.

the watch doesn't show the time and heart rate at the same time, but it's an easy one button switch between time and hr.

but i have to say untill you start sweating it has a hard time picking up an accurate heart rate, make sure you do what it says and wet the back of the sensor a bit.

it give me the total calories burn the time that i was in my zone (70 to 90% of my maximum heart rate), total time and totals to date.

of course, it's not going to give my heart rate, but, it does tell me the time.

i do want to see how i'm doing, as i'm doing it, so i love the "bullets" (for every 10 minutes that you're in your heart rate zone, a bullet appears on the face, above the time).

although it doesn't monitor your heart constantly (you have to stop and recheck your pulse rate from time to time) it is still good while exercising to see if your heart rate is up.

it only takes a few seconds and i don't think your heart slows that much in that short of time.

i have used it several times and find that the heart rate feature is easy to use and i do not have to "stop" my aerobic activity to check my heart rate.

i have never had a problem with the watch not measuring my heart rate by pressing two fingers on the buttons - it has worked every time.

for the above reviewer, here is how to adjust the time/date:

there is also a date and timer on the screen.

now it's rectangular with buttons on the top frame (clock) and large ones: memory (2x50 memories, up from 2x30) and on/off on the bottom of face that are easily pressed when removed from storage case

to avoid issues that others may have had in transferring data, install the software before connecting the data logger to the pc for the first time.

this product would not work on my computer most of the time.
