This is a very nice watch. It measures your heart rate very well, but sometimes it will not read it and you have to wait a few minutes. from Amazon.com I have tried two other heart rate watches (you can look at my other reviews) and this is my favorite (also less expensive). I like the pink color a lot. from Amazon.com The reason we got this watch was for my wife to be able to take her heart rate. In order to do this, you must place your index finger on one of the metal "buttons" on the face of the watch, and your middle finger on the other. from Amazon.com I bought the watch thinking that it would be more convenient not having to wear a strap around my chest when I'm running.
