Pros: 1)$$$2)works as advertises3)I have not had any equipment not work. Cons: 1)The watch could be more comfortable2)The chest belt gets a little squirrelly after a while of high activity. Initial blank screen does not mean dead battery - manual suggests pressing any two buttons for a few seconds, to start it up. Cons: NOT MENTIONED in the manual: If the watch bottom cover gets installed in the wrong position (180 degrees opposite), beeper and "TOL" function CAN NOT work, because springs must touch (firmly) certain spots on piezoelectric element (built into the cover). This contact surfaces may be oxidized, causing a bad contact with springs. from Newegg.com
