This headset has average, but acceptable sound quality when listening to music. The voice quality on calls is about from Amazon.com at close range. Then I tried the Sony DRBT22. MUCH better bass than the S9, much better control button layout and feel, and they didn't cut out like the S9 always did. paird with nokia 6126 phone and sony bluetooth xmitter from Amazon.com : I found that in order to use skype (or the microphone on the sony) from your laptop, you need to set up a SEPARATE bluetooth profile configured as "headset". (this is the lower quality one from Amazon.com 's an issue with my hardware set up. otherwise from Amazon.com successfuly pared and it's not paring with the Sony Bluetooth transmitter however my phone which is accross the room is paring up. I hope anyone interested in this has internet access or live in a big city from Amazon.com the headset on. It usually doesn't work until I go into the phones bluetooth menu and drop and reconnect the headset. I don't have this problem with my netbook. At first i was disappointed with the sound quality from Amazon.com 's in Headphone mode not Headset mode as the quality suffers horribly with the latter.
