Wire is much shorter than I'm used to from the Grados and Senns, but I suppose they are geared toward more mobile uses where a long cord would just get in the way.

One recommendation would be to have a shorter cable with an extension (like the Shure) to allow for using a mic accessory for iphone or other mobile phones.
