Best Headphones for Games

i do not understand why a gaming headset that will likely be transported frequently does not have a robust, sturdy cable design.

pros: i originally bought a plantronics gamecom pro1 headset..and sound was great but they hurt my ears after less than half an hour of use, and couldnt use an equalizer being they were usb..so i

if you're looking to use them for gaming (which was my intention) they do quite well.

they don't hurt my ears after extended hours of gaming.

other thoughts: the price may be steep, but if you pair this with a great sound card (xtreme gamer fatal1ty) you would not be able to get better sound.

for gamers and movie fans looking for a solid upgrade, the ak-r8's are a definite consideration, delivering booming sound that sinks the consumer right into the world they're watching.

other thoughts: great buy for the money, they feel strong, (i wouldnt throw them around but good non-the less), great for long gaming sessions, confy!

this can sometimes take you out of the "scenario" when watching movies or playing games, which is why i use these primarily for music.

to the megalodons, which is a scary headset btw, these still have better sound quality, the megalodons were a bit muffled, although they were excellent in game, obviously superior to the ath-m50.
