Best Headphones for Television Watching

now my husband and i can watch tv at night without it keeping the kids up.

i've had my sennheiser (model 130) wireless headset for about a year and have been extrememly happy with it's performance (even bought my wife one for her tv) - they work fine, with the 3 audio

i have a hearing problem so i can't speak about the audiophile quality but i can now enjoy tv to its fullest.

i use these for listening to tv late at night without disturbing my wife, and also to listen to fm while i exercise or relax.

she was able to hear her dvd on the plane and she liked how they fit her ears.

when his mom put the earphones on him and started his dvd he did not try to remove them.

i have had a hard time getting my 2 year old to wear headphones while watching his portable dvd player and these headphones worked like a charm.

i love them because now i can listen to my xm in the car and not have the dvd competing behind me!

our family uses these to extend tv sound when using the treadmill.

this is a nice headset for basic listening to tv/music, etc.

i bought this so i could watch tv, dvds, and play my ps3 late at night so i wouldnt disturb my wife sleeping.

but i'm very impressed of how much it actually does cancel out, if i am listening to music at a normal volume, i cant hear any little distractions like the phone ringing or the tv in the background.

high quality dvd audio sounds amazing.

the sound was good, perfect really, if you mainly want to watch dvds and feel like you're in the movie, but i wanted my cans for music and i wanted quality, especially at that price point.

since we have a television in our office, often times my headphones have to compete with tv shows, as well as the wifes computer - hence the decision to go with a closed style.

i was recently listening to the sennheiser and found television dialog difficult to understand.
