highs are quirky, depending on the source material and the eq setting on the ipod sometimes the highs are a bit light at other times there is too much sibilance in the vocals.

yet, when i listen an elvis 'live' recording in vegas, all of elvis' vocals, riffs, burton's guitar, the orchestra, and the backup singers are are clear and full, even on a much lower volume setting.
