The adapter makes it very versatile - I plug it into my computer at work - I plug it into the TV at home to watch without waking kids, I plug it into iPods.
I've tried quite a few of the bluetooth headsets that can be used as stereo headsets as well as cell phone receivers.

I bought these to replace my Sony foldable headphones (MDR-A106) because the foam had completely fallen apart on my Sony pair.
I purchased the Lightweight Stereo Headphones (HP-200F) September 18, 2006 as a replacement for the default Apple earbuds that came with my Ipod.
Obviously these headphones are not for the audiophile.
I have to admit these headphones weren't exactly what I had imagined when I bought them.

I should have listened more to the reviews about the sound.
