I am really shocked at the previous reviews on these ear-buds. I own; from Amazon.com I had a pair of Denon C351s which I really liked. I gave them to my son, even though he's "not an audiophile" like his dad, and I ordered these Aug. from Amazon.com I've had these for a couple months now, and am extremely pleased with them. I also use koss ksc75, and used to have cx 300's. from Amazon.com I have receieved the 452's today and will comment on my initial impressions. For reference I have owned Shure EC3 (300$), EC2's (100) Sony in ear monitors(60$), Koss sparkplugs, and other OEM buds. from Amazon.com It's not that Denon doesn't make great earphones, these just aren't one of the good ones. I have a pair of AH-C452K, AH-C551K, and AH-C710K. from Amazon.com The Denon AH-C452 headphones are a solid step up in sound quality from other inexpensive headphones. I have had them for several months and have been extremely satisfied. from Amazon.com Back in May 2009, I read favorable reviews on these inner ear headphones and decided to purchase a pair. I have been looking for a decent set of inner ear headphones for traveling and working outside in the yard and taking the dogs for a walk. I received my pair promptly from Amazon and found out they had come equipped with the medium ear tip and only 1 large and 1 small. Not 1 pair, just one. from Amazon.com Very full and balanced sound. The bass is as good as the V-Moda, and the mid range and highs are well defined and give a somewhat brighter sound than the Shure E4c and much brighter than the UE 5 EB both of which I use for more serious listening and plane travel. The latter have the Comfly foam tips which if fitted to these Denons would improve the isolation considerably over the supplied tips and probably improve the sound, but at the expense of convenience. On balance, great value, good build quality and sound is very very good. from Amazon.com I normally use Koss KSC-75s but the sound leak is kinda bad so went on a hunt for something quieter for public settings. I wanted something that could match,or sound better than, my Koss set so a decent frequency response was a big deciding factor. from Amazon.com Overall, I was very satisfied with the sound reproduction. I listen mainly to rock and pop in FLAC format(900-1100kbps), so source quality was top-notch. The packaging comes with 3 various sizes of plugs. It is important to have a proper fit, or else the sound quality diminished greatly. from Amazon.com
