I'm an audiophile, having owned equipment by Martin Logan, Mark Levinson, Krell, etc. These earphones are a rebrand of UE's triple-fi. from Amazon.com I wanted the best there is in sound. I wanted to hear my music at the best level possible. I do own larger supra-aural headphones but they are not convenient for the gym or subway and they press on the top of my head which after a while hurts. These phones surpass my expectations. from Amazon.com
