Turtle Beach Ear Force AK R8 is nothing less than Top of the Line! Everything is promised in the description and the quality exceeded my expectations! from Buy.com Voice chatting was a major issue. The mic (when it actually worked) sounded extremely distorted (something my other headsets did not do). However, the headphones are "punchy" for music and one review summed it up well when reviewer said that long periods of time listening to music would tire his ears. I don't find them particularly uncomfortable during extended periods of wear (2+ hours, I've probably worn them as long as six), but the positioning of the USB soundcard is what I find fault with. from Amazon.com I tried it in different USB ports on different PCs and a laptop; never worked.
