I bought these headphones after having a great experience with Philips before, my other headphones lasted two years before my brother broke them. So, I researched and found these, which happened to be the successor to my broken headphones. from Amazon.com I have both, the old white 820 and the new 8200..... differences: from Amazon.com These headphones appear to be a newer incarnation of the outstanding Philips HS820 phones (currently rated 4.5 stars in 71 Amazon reviews).
