I pulled them out and they still work. How amazing is that? I recommend these headphones for any non-audiophiles who are looking for "barely there" in-ears. These headphones have ok sound quality. from Amazon.com These phones are the best sounding and by far the most comfortable ones ever made that Ive came across, but there is a very fundamental design defect in the cord near the plug in...after a few months the wire on the inside becomes frayed and you lose sound out of one channel...this has happened three times to me alreay...but to their credit, Bose has replaced it every time. Why the plug in is designed this way I dont know...it's ackward and prevents mobility, but the worst part is how the soudn eventually is compromised....so 5 stars on sound and fit...3 stars on ergonomics...1 star on durabiliity and 4 stars on service...if you want an accurate breakdown. from Amazon.com I got these thinking..."Bose, got to be the best earbuds !" ....total disappointment.
