Poor quality build. ...audio/visual knowledge. I knew that Sennheiser was a good manufacturer of headphones so I was quite eager to buy them after reading good reviews. I tried it for few minutes, to see how it feels, most import thing for me isn't the sound but how comfortable it is, as I use headphone while I am browsing on the net, which I do a lot everyday and for hours. I found the HD 212 pro is very comfortable even after using it for hours. The sound is also nice and clear and if you have good sound card in your computer, you will feel the difference, as I have Creative Xi-Fi card, which made a difference. from Amazon.com I always thought that Sony produced the best an highest quality products. A little disappointed since the sound quality did not match the Bose but in hindsight I should not have expected a $50 headset to sound as good as a $125 headset. The bass of the HD-212 is outstanding but the highs and mid level sounded closer to my white in-the-ear earphones that came with my ipod. The earphones are comfortable and I do enjoy the deep bass but overall I can't rave about it. from Amazon.com The last headphones I purchased were the Skullcandy Skullcrushers. I thought they would be perfect because I love loud music and bass. When I got them, to say they were disappointing would be an understatement (Around twenty dollars more than the HD212s, needed batteries to "power" very generic sounding bass, broke within a couple months, very cheap plastic). So when I got these, I was a little leery as to how they would sound, because the Skullcrushers also received good reviews. from Amazon.com Pros: Want the best sound fidelity for your money, then stick with Sennheiser. As I have a preference for heavier bass, I thought the HD-212's from Amazon.com
