For years, I have been a huge fan of Sony's MDR-V6. But Panasonic's 560 rival them in fit, looks and sound - and for a fraction of the price. As mentioned else where, the cord is extraordinarily thin and because of that it became the victim of vacuuming incident. from Amazon.com I picked up a pair of these headphones overseas and they have travelled several thousand miles with me over the last 6 months. There is no wear and tear yet; they actually came apart slightly when stuffed in my carry on but I just snapped them back together. The sound is amazing for the price, they are my first pair of panasonics in a while and I think Ill stick with them if this is the kind of quality and value I can expect throughout their lineup. from Amazon.com I have owned many different types and brands of headphones over the years, some inexpensive some very expensive. In my opinion, right up there with the venerable Koss Pro4AA's but much, much lighter. from Amazon.com These are not very sensitive headphones (100 db), so there is a lot of noise at even moderate volumes.
