I also owned the Sennheiser HD 580 and Beyerdynamics DT-880 for several years. I like the from Amazon.com Before I get started used the Cowon I7 mp3 player songs ripped at 320. Other head phone owned are Sennheiser PX200, Sennheiser PX100, Grado SR60, AKG K26P ,and AKG K81DJ. When first opened the package saw some headphones that didn't look special at all. I still have them. Compared to the Denon AH-D1001S they sound muffled, veiled, and ill-defined in the bass. She really liked my Denon AH-D5000, so I thought I would get these for her, they are a bit smaller in size as to fit her better. Being that they are a tad smaller they are lighter as well; which works better for her. from Amazon.com These headphones are great for the price I paid. Too bad they're no longer on sale. I was mainly searching for a replacement to my PX200s; portable closed headphones that provide good sound and enough isolation so that it won't disturb others.
