I have bought so many Tv earphones that wasn't worth a popcorn billow. Not to bother my husband by turning TV up so loud it breaks the sound from Amazon.com These are probably the best behind the neck headset I have tried. I have an overhead pair of Koss headphones that are a little better but not by much. Clearly better than more expensive ear buds or other Sony head phones I have tried. from Amazon.com They are open-backed which allows me to hear the phone ring or other people talking when played at moderate volume levels. The fit well and are easy to put on or take off but don't dislodge when I bend over or stoop. I hoped they might have the same speaker elements in them that Koss puts in their KTXPRO1s (a very fine, inexpensive over-the-head model) but sadly, that's not the case.
