I decided to test the SRH840s with Paul Galbraith's Bach Sonatas and Partitas (solo 8-string guitar), which was a DDD recording. After the first 15 seconds I thought I was hearing something odd from the headphones and then realized that I was hearing Galbraith's breathing as he played (he always manages to hold his breath during single-note play, and in very quiet passages, but as he gets going, I definitely hear his breathing).
I recently bought a pair of SRH840s. Been trying them out for a few days now.
